hi there ,can any one help me please,every time I put a disc in the cdrom it turns my computor off,this has been going on for a long time now ,so Ive stoped useing it,but now every time I turn on the computor,it goes through the boot sequence about 8 times,as far as ,f2 set up,f11 boot menue,press auto detect 4 for abort,this happens quite a few times befor the computor starts,then all is well,any suggestions please,birdman 1,

If you are familiar with opening the computer I'd suggest trying to disconnect the CD drive and see what difference it makes.
