Whenever I try to turn on my computer, I get a C:Windows/System32/Config/System error saying it is either corrupt or missing? When I try to reinstall it throught the XP disk, it comes up with the blue screen saying registry errors

i have searched on google i also did the recovery console. I managed to get to the console but when it asks for the boot system thing. The number thing, i type 1 and push enter. THEN THE BLUE SCREEN COMES ABOUT REGISTRIES AGAIN.

Try running a disk checker. If the disk checks out OK, reinstall the O/S.
