    Sound Drama

Okay so about a year ago, my computer was going down to hell. So I went out and got a windows xp cd. Put it on my computer and bam everything was working again. Then it came time to plug my speakers in. Well when I did so no sound came out, and now when I go to adjust my volume it wont even let me touch it. So if someone knows what the @@@@ is going on. Can you please get back to me?

    Thanks a lot,
    Alex

The best source for audio drivers is the computer manufacturers web site.

If the computer was custom built then go to the motherboard manufacturers web site.

Go to the driver download section and insert your model number. The drivers will be there.

Turns out the network card driver got erased too... Or whatever is needed for the internet. Can you link me to the proper download?

It has a wireless card, but we are trying to hook it up via LAN connection.

Also, how do I figure out which wireless card it has to download the right driver for the wireless card?

These would be under Network Drivers:

To find your exact hardware try the Device Manager. Right click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager > "Network adapters".

Any hardware Windows cannot define will be listed under "Other devices".
