Put your cursor arrow inside the right hand side of the Task Manager boarder and double click. This is a standard feature of the Task Manager.

As to the restrictions try this:

Download and run the edit on line 268:
    http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

If that doesn't help you need to edit your registry or Group Policy. Is this Home or Pro?

when i click that iegentabs.reg is downloaded. But when i doubleclick it .... it asks me to find the program to run it.... i dont know wat.

    Check your Registry settings here:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre nt
    Version\Policies\Explorer.Value Name: DisallowRun

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre nt
    Version \Policies\Explorer

Also try Kelly's Korner 275. Lift Restrictions - TM, Regedit and CMD

Also just to note these changes are usually an affect of a virus so you might want to run scans etc.

You can try to Run from the Task Manager > File > New Task (Run...) > regedit

Or try Kelly's Korner 275. Lift Restrictions - TM, Regedit and CMD
