Hi and thank you in advance for any/all help. Last week Adobe flash player uploaded an automatic update onto my pc. Ever since I have not been able to connect to the internet using IE or Firefox. My computer still has internet connection because AIM still connects along with a couple computer games. When I first had this problem I did a systems restore to a few days prior and everything worked as it should. Then the update downloaded again and now I'm back to the same problem, not being able to connect with any internet browser. I've tried to do another systems restore but that no longer works because "nothing has changed" when attempting the restore. I'm not sure whats going on or how to fix it. Again thank you in advance for your time, patience and help.

Have you tried downloading and installing the latest flash player from Adobe's website to see if that clears the problem? You could also uninstall and re-install Firefox (or IE for that matter but Firefox may be easier) to see if that corrects the problem.

I'm online via my brother's computer. I've tried uninstalling adobe flash player and reinstalling the latest patch but to no avail. I will go back and try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox/IE. Should the problem still persist (and I will let you know if it doesn't) what could/should I do next? Thanks again.
