I've recently noticed that whenever I recieve an e-mail and forward it, it sometimes, (or usually) is seen by the reciever as a lot of garbled text, pages and pages of it, and much worse if there is an attachment. Also, not sure if this is related or not, my restore no longer works, any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you get an clear there then return to this thread and we can look at other ideas.

Follow the instructions in his post and post a log in that section.

It shows what is running on your computer and is key to detecting Malware and Viruses.

The behavior you describe could well be caused by such things.

I've got, and run Spybot daily, I have Norton, and it runs every day, plus ad blockers, I guess I'l have to try another forum, I don't know what you are asking me to do!

Download the new version of hijackthis here: This will install Hijackthis to the correct default folder: C:\Program Files\HijackThis

Click scan and save a log file and notepad will open up with HJT inside.
