im totally at the end of my tether. my IE7 was working perfectly until yesterday. Suddenly after restarting after a program clean-up the internet explorer quicklaunch on the desktop was replaced by a globe with internet written underneath. I clicked this and it simply brought up internet settings.After hours of trying to sort the problem, as i could only get online by clicking links in MSN messenger,i did a system restore back 2 a few hours before problems started. Then the internet explorer quick launch came back and i could get online ok. But it's all different now,the windows live toolbar has gone,i cannot get tabbed browsing at all and i have tried using msn toolbar tools etc and it has disappeared completely,another thing is on the minimized windows where you would normally see the name of the page or website you are using it is simply blank,when i bring up control panel etc they still say control panel it is only the IE pages that don say the name.

I would greatly appreciate any ideas or help as it's slowly but surely driving me insane x

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling IE7.

You will find it in the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
