I having a rather bizarre problem with my computer lately, after its been running for 2 or 3 days the hard drive light will come on and stay solid until the computer is rebooted after that its go for another 2 or 3 days. It also seems to freezes up slightly while this is occurring. The are no processes running that would be access the hard drive and the memory and CPU profiles are both normal of ran idle system. I've also test the memory, hard rive and scanned for virus and spyware all of which have reported back as clean. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem your help is appreciated. Have you monitored your Task Manager at these times?

Some process is running or the hard drive is failing.

Do you have any scheduled tasks scheduled?

You ran the manufacturer's bootable diagnostic on the hard drive?

Have you tried "Googling" it
