    298 errors

hi guys, firstly thanks for all previous help and assistance.

At last I'm home with the ones I love!!

I had a quick look at my dads pc for him and did a couple of things to improve his slow computer:
    I'm no expert.
deleted temp cookies, internet files and emptied his prefetch folder.

My dad hasn't heard of registry fix.
His only maintenance is a regular de-frag.

Then I restarted the pc and installed free registry fix:
the scan came back with a massive 298 faults, it will only auto fix 50 for free.
please tell me can I get a programme to fix them all or should I try to fix things manually by hunting down pathfiles and throwing them in the bin.

    Thanks guys

    Carl

A "never cleaned" registry will always show hundreds of "errors". This is not surprising.

Many people advise never cleaning the registry as any system improvement is doubtful and damage is very possible.

However I use RegSeeker which is Free.

You can also use ERUNT and NTREGOP for backup and optimization.
