Hi, When I start windows xp it runs ok. However I constantly have a command prompt window flashing up and it unabes me to do colledge work or play games.Can any one help?

What exactly does it say in the upper part of the window?

The command prompt of XP should read:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe
