    Does anybody knows how to get rid of the windows boot manager?

    Does anybody knows how to get rid of the windows boot manager?

    This is my story so u guys know what I mean.

    I have a laptop with 2 HD and in my Primary HD I have Wxp OS so lats week I Install Wvista OS in to my secondary HD through Wxp and ever since then I can'nt boot any of HD individualy with my program call BOOT COMMANDER winch alow me to boot ether from my Primary HD or Secondary HD

    How do I notice That?
    Because I remove my secondary Hd wich is Wvista And replaced with onother HD with Wxp OS and the I choose to boot my secondary HD with my program BOOT COMMANDER and instead of boot straight to my secondary HD like it supposed to instead the windows boot manager comes out and ask me if I want to boot my earlier version of Windows or Windows Vista then I choose windows vista wichs is Wxp because I change the HD like I said before but it can'nt boot because it says that the boot file is missing and it must be because I remove Wvista so I think both of them work together

    So that's why I ask- Does anybody knows how to get rid of the windows boot manager?
    So I can boot any of my HD individualy with my program BOOT COMMANDER.

    I see this post:

    How to remove the Vista “Windows Boot Manager” from windows XP

    Before attempting any of the following make a restore point

    1. Open up my computer with all hidden files and file extensions visible.
    2. Cut and paste the following items into a separate folder or partition:
    Boot (hidden folder)
    Bootmgr
    Bootsect.bak
    Boot.ini
    Boot.bak
    3. Rename Bootsect.bak to bootsect.dos and copy back to the My Computer
    folder.
    4. Copy the boot.ini file back to the My Computer folder and then open with
    notepad.
    5. Remove all the following lines from the reference and save ensuring it is
    not set as read only.
    ;
    ; Warning: Boot.ini is used on Windows XP and earlier operating systems.
    ; Warning: Use BCDEDIT.exe to modify Windows Vista boot options.
    ;
    6. Restart the system and you should be able to go straight into Windows XP
    without having to go through “Windows Boot Manager”.
    7. After windows has finished loading you should be able to format the
    partition that Vista was installed to (ensure that the backup copies you made
    first are not on this partition).
    8. If successful then it would be advisable to set another restore point.

    I would think that the post I quoted relates to working in XP but I am not certain.

    I just ran a search on your issue and that popped up. So I can not be of much more help than what is in that post as to that approach.

    Most files can be found via start > Search
    All files and folders > also select Advanced options and show both Hidden and System files.

    I also am not familiar with your boot manager but can you disable it or adjust it?

    You can manually edit your boot.ini by right clicking My Computer the click Properties then Advanced the Startup and Recovery > Settings > System startup

    To edit the startup options file manually, click Edit

    A standard single boot of XP Pro should look like this:

    [boot loader]
    timeout=30
    default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOW S
    [operating systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
