i just finished reformatting and installing windows xp media edition and most of the drivers but my video controller. i got all the available updates from windows, have my security programs up, but when i try videos or games or scroll thru windows real fast, it is really slow (it wasnt like that before i reformatted). i tried youtube and no problems with fps.

i went to my express installer cd and tried to install the graphics media accelerator driver but i get this message like this:

"INF file does not contain information for this system's hardware"


everything else seems fine except my video graphics.



another thing: I put in my ATI Radeon Driver CD and i get this message:

"Setup was unable to find componenets that can be isntalled on your current hardware or software configuration. Please make sure you have the required hardware or software."


i need some help )

This Intel board has Intergrated Video, if you have installed a graphics card it is not recognising it, the INF files can be installed from Intel, you need the Chipset driver, go here to Intel http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...8&submit=Go%21

it's No:5 the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility.
Intel advise installing this driver before any others.

but you need to know if you have the ATI graphics card installed, or you are useing Intels Intergrated Video

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case
