Not fully sure if this is the right sectiion, basically when I insert my digital camera lead into the USB drive, a new drive wont appear on the computer, I had this problem before but I can't remember how I fixed it, I'm certain there is something wrong with the USB drive and not the camera.

Any advice?

Do you mean USB ports?

Or is this something to do with connecting to an external USB hard drive?

Do other USB devices work OK?


Make sure that Plug and Play is started under Services: start Run... services.msc

Whoops, I meant USB port, the plug and play is started. The USB port is working for other devices.
