I replaced the backlight on my Sony Vaio PCG-NV170. When I connected the plugs that turn it on, the monitor lights up for approx. 3 seconds. Then the backlight turns off and the screen goes dark. You can see the screen is still working, but the backlight has turned off. I am really frustrated and wonder if anyone knows what the problem is.

Please help.
