We bought a PC using win XP with an integrated card reader.

After just over a year, we suddenly can't use the card reader as the system cannot detect it. We are able to use a card reader hub via the usb port but not the original.

We've tried rolling back to before the problem occured and using the hardware detect option but no good,

Any suggestions?
