My advent pc crashed bigtime so i used the cd to restore windows xp, i used the quick format option which deletes a lot of stuff but saves it back on windows in a file on the C drive.

This file has all the settings, files etc everything how my computer was set up before,

is there anyway i can restore all this stuff?

What about using the registry?
