i have a major issue! so i went out and i bought a used computer for myself, it came with a few nifty programs and i had quite a few extra ones put on so i could further how useful and time saving my new supercool computer is! well a so called "friend" of mine, loggedc on one day and with his laptop i suppose he tried to take some programs or whatever for himself!!! i dont know what he did but now a buncha programs (or is it software?) are not even working and some of them half work, some are just fine... I'm extremely worried he did something major!!! can i reboot, back-up or sytem restart to fix this mes??? one thats really messed up for example is: windows media player, i just dont know where to start PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

You could try a system restore to restore to a time before the problems started.
