To whom it may concern,

When I open certain downloaded programs from the internet (eg. the Turbo Pascal, Picasa2, Ares etc.) the programs are not being opened and I am always receiving an error message telling me this: The applicarion or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\AVIFIL32.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

What shall I do so that I will be able to open and use these programs properly, please?

The only reference I can find to it may be related to the worm Klez E virus. http://www.qbresource.com/PartnerFol...ent.cfm?id=163
Is your av up to date? You may want to check it with ewido online scan. http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

Ares may be the culprit for your getting the worm. P2P is well-known for malware.
