Please can u help? I am not very good with computers! When the pc is first switched on, as quick as the 'xp' screen flashes it dissappears and another blue screen shows for about half a second, before vanishing. This has been happening over and over and I cannot get into windows at all!! Any ideas? Any help would great! Thanks

do you get any message on the blue screen?
have you added any hardware or software recently?

hi, thanks for reply. No, no new hardware added. However, it was switched off before logging off (don't know if that helps!). The blue screen does have lots of white text, but as it only shows for a split second, it is impossible to register what it says.

have you tried getting into safe mode (press F8 when machine starts up)
