When i load up my laptop its goes to a black screen saying 'Non-System disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready'. what do i do pressing any key does not do anything ??

have you got a disc in the CD drive?

can you get into safe mode?

when the machine boots up can you get into the BIOS?

hi no disc in cd-drive cant get into safe mode but can only get into rom setup

so before you can get to safe mode you get the black screen?

can get into the BIOS and change the boot order?
