i have winxp pro. and i have and issuse where i can unhook my voip phone and try to hook my modem up stright to the nic card or usb and it will not renew ip address i have try every thing and this start when my voip phone box went out and they sent me another box for the voip phoine but same thing if i unhook the old box that messed up it will not renew ip address

i have an IBM netvesta computer pentuim 3 processor 1000 mhz
256 meg ram
i have tow nic cards one is a Compaq nc3121 fast eithernet nic
the othe is ADMtek AN982 10/100 PCI Adapter
