Unhappy XP stuck on Blue Load Screen Help lol

I have been looking all over the net, and various forums for some help.

    I have a Sony Vaio PCV-RX 650
    80G harddrive
    512mb RAM
    Windows XP
the only upgrade is a Nvidia FX5600 256 mb vid card

The problem began a little more then a month ago. When I went to restart my computer, instead of loading windows it showed a weird message
"Hardware monitor found a problem" I went into setup, my power fan was running way too slow, (it said it was going around 1400 rpm, and it was in red). Now that I've installed a new fan its running at 2300 rpm and its no longer in red in the hardware manager.

But windows still won't load. It gets stuck at the blue windows xp loading screen and just stays there. I've tried to load it in safe mode, nothing happens. So if anyone could give me some advice I would be very very greatful. Thanks so much!! :notworthy:

Do you havce an XP CD or other method of reinstalling the operating system? If a "repair" installation can be done, your files and programs will be unaffected. You will only lose any Windows Updates that you may have installed.
