Six years without a reformat is a long time. You will be happy with the results...Any important data you want to save/copy it to a disk. Just a reminder!

I'm not very good with the computer lingo (should of paid attention five years ago in computer class seventh grade year :rofl2: ), but what is a reformat?

What brand/model of computer do you have?

On the computer, it says it is a Microsoft Windows XP but also says HP.

whatever you do, dont' use 3rd party programs for reformatting... use an official xp boot disk.. read my thread titled "I Think I Broke IT!!" to see why.. I'm still having a few driver issues... Had to install Win98 first then upgrade, cause my xp disk wouldn't recognise my hd.. >.<

AND MAKE BACKUP FILES!!!!
