Hi,
I recently had a spyware infection called SpySheriff, it changed my background to a thing that said "You have Adware". I removed the spyware successfully, but i cant change my background anymore. Also, my task manager is disabled. can someone help me?

Have you ran any spyware scans after you removed the spyware? (Ad-Aware, Spybot etc.) If you have and it's not finding anything, you'll need to post a HijackThis log in the HJT forum.

look in the C:\windows\system 32 file for the following:
bum32.exe, private.exe, internat.dll, voi593.exe, voi390.exe or varients, scan using adwarese, and post a HJ log in the HJ section as TY said...
