Thanks jazzman, I'm a complete novice and need all the help I can get, I'm so fed up with catching spyware that I am really trying to nail it all down. - I've just got my son a new computer and really want to make sure that ones gonna have less trouble as possible. If I ask a silly question or post in the wrong place I apologise, like I've said-complete novice, sorry.
A bit off subject but I've been looking around for a free Reg defender/protector-I've seen one at Diamond, regprot I think, do you known a program like this that works with a limited account?

I use RegProt and it should work fine on your son's account, limited or not. when you install it just check the box that says "for all users" instead if just the administrator...

ps: no need to aplogize for anything, we were all novices once
