Windows Update is showing updates to my hardware that is installed on my Mobo, now do I install from Update site or should I go to my Mobo site and download from ther.

Any advice appreciated :?:

I believe you can if you are near certain that it is the proper driver and for your motherboard. Otherwise you're better to go off of your motherboard's site. Windows Update, will tell me my sound is out-of-date but really it's the wrong driver.

Yeah. Personally I never get drivers from windows update site.

Always go with the manufacture.

I got a driver from Windows Update that broke my sound... use the manufacture's website.
