Question Windows XP on Slave Drive?

    Hi All,

Sorry for the newibie-esque question but I've simply never tried this before!

I want to reinstall XP Pro onto what is the Slave IDE drive on my PC. Does anyone see any problems or issues with this? I'll be assigning C: to the partition on the Slave and D: to the partition on the primary.

If anyone has any hints or tips for this and knows of any obvious pitfalls then I'd be pleased to hear!

    TIA,

    Darren

This is something i haven't actually done but i cannot see why you would have a problem installing XP on the slave drive.
Someone will probably be along soon who knows a lot more about this though

You should have no problems what so ever.

    Cheers for the replies everybody!

From what I can see, the only other thing I need to do is change the boot order in the BIOS to boot from the second hard disk .

Thanks all! See y'all around in the forums 8-)
