    Firewall issues

Erm.. last I was here, Sygate Personal Firewall was recommended. The only issue is, it won't load the user interface while there's more than one account logged on on XP, and since just about constantly all the accounts are logged on at once... I need something else... any suggestions for anything good that won't have this same issue?

    Hello Sixty,

I personally don't use Sygate, so please be patient until a member knows the solution. Sorry I couldn't help

Have you tried putting the sygate firewall in all user accounts start menu folder? If that doesn't work, use outpost free firewall:

    Hiya Sixty
If i'm not mistaken you can only load Sygate's user interface on the first account that was opened in that session. I know how much of a pain in the backside it can be when you have to log on to another user's account just to unblock something like a download :?

That's just the thing, though, I loaded it using my account. It wouldn't load at all if more than one account was on, no matter which account you were on.

EDIT: Well, I'm trying Outpost, and so far so good.. hopefully it'll continue to allow me to open the user interface on at least one account, rather than none... sorry to bother y'all [again].
