Hi Guys...

I am trying to upload a photograph to a website (competition) but it keeps coming back saying file is too large. I have tried to zip and send it but the website only accepts the JPEG and Gif thingies...I am not technical as some of you will know so please can someone give me an idiot guide on how to do that??? Thanks!

I don't know where to start. Most any photo viewer or graphics program will resize pics. The one I find handiest is Picasa. It will automatically resize pics for emailing and then email them for you. My next fave is EasyThumbs. But there are literally hundreds that will resize.

Once again my visit on this forum has proved successful. I ended up downloading Picasa and finally managed to submit my competition entry by making my photo size smaller...I'll let you know if I get anywhere with it!!! Thanks a lot guys - have a good weekend!!!
