    Java/ByteVerify

I can't get rid of the Java/ByteVerify virus. Using AVG. It found it but won't Heal/Move to Vault

    Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum 'MrsBeeotch'

I believe if you follow the instructions below your problems will be solved
Close all browsers that may be running. Now click on start, then go to control panel, now select Java plug-in (this might take a few seconds to open). Click on cache and then clear the JAR Cache.

It is also worth running an online scan as Tyler suggested

Let us know if this solved your problem

vidster, a question, never looked at Java plug-in but after reading this I did. On the browser tab I have no browser checked. It shows IE netscape and mozilla 1.1 or later. Now I use firefox, should I check the Mozilla browser. I have Microsoft VM which I use with IE so what's the best way to go. Any suggestions much appreciated.

    Hiya TDD .
The best way to do it is from within Firefox. Open Firefox, go to Tools and then Options. Now open the General section. Where it says "Default Browser" click on 'Check Now'. You can then set Firefox as your default browser .
