:shock: Microsoft have released 4 security updates KB871250, KB890175, KB891711 one is Internet Explorer the other 2 Windows XP. It is the 4th one that I am wondering about, it is "Malicious Software Removal Tool - January 2005". I have Norton Internet Security 2003, Ad-Aware SE, SpyBot Search & Destroy and Spyware Blaster installed. I read where Microsoft are going into the Antivirus field, is this there way of getting us all on board, but more importantly do I need it. I would appreciate your views on this.

I just did a fresh install of Windows. And I got this. As for the Anti-Virus that is a standlone releasing tomorrow, I believe. Beta verison.

I wouldn't mind if i could use Microsoft update . It won't let me update any of my pc's, something to do with a static ip :? :? :?

Vidster, have you tried the Download Centre for updates, I'm not sure but I think the rules are different. I had problems updating with Getright and Microsoft advised to use the Download site. Don't know if I'm right but it may be worth a try.:-k
