The problems with my computer is that I get the BSOD sometimes, when Im on fire fox it just kicks me out some times, or just freezes up, it is also very slow and loud at times. I have had the free edition of Bit defender, than I upgraded to Bit defender internet scarred, i have also gotten CCleaner. I am running windows XP, I have graphics by ATI radeon express 200m, I got Blue screen view two days ago and since than I have not gotten the BSOD, but fire fox is still kicking me off randomly, I have adblock plus, video downloader help, smart fox, no script, wot, febe, better privacy as FF ad ons. I have gotten the BSOD scene switching from IE, to FF.
When I used the Blue screen view I don't know if it worked or not because it did not give me any info back, the display screen just stayed normal.
Before I got CCleaner, my computer would be unbelievably slow so I went to windows task manager, and it would say the CPU usage history was 100%. Then I would go to CTRL run and clean up some disk, it would be a window with a black screen it would go throw and find problems and fix them, for a while than it would start up again.
With Bit defender, when it completes a full scan there are no versus on it but it rarely finishes a scan it get about ten min in and than it says it encountered a problem.

Make sure, that writing dump files after BSOD is enabled:
    1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel (Start>Control Panel in Vista).
    2. Double-click System.
    3. Click (Advanced system settings link in Vista, then --->)the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
    4. Make sure, there is a checkmark in Write an event to the system log.
    5. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (64k).
Let me know, if the settings were correct.

If BSOD happens again, run BlueScreenView and we'll have more info.

Click on start, programs, mozilla, & select Mozilla Firefox (safe mode). Report to us as to whether or not you subsequently have trouble with FF. Running FF like this definitely disables your add-ons & probably any installed skins and is useful in troubleshooting FF. IE 7/8 has essentially the same thing [called IE (No Add-ons)] but they put it somewhere under accessories. I forgot where exactly because I moved it.

I apologize. I got mixed up with some other thread.
I see no security issues here, so I'll move this one back to Windows section, and when you'll get some more BSODs, please run BlueScreenView.

What exactly do you mean by this? Does, it crash, freeze, blue screen, or do you lose internet? Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling FF?

all of the above. most common is it will crash. just kicking me off with the computer still on and working, than a gray box asking if i want to send the crash report to FF. and than it lets me click restore and than i can get back on until it happends. that happens most often when im lesiong to music or watching a video. but i never download any thing. and yes i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF.
