i accidently deleted my sound card and when i hit system restore it will not work how do i fix this

Is System Restore turned ON, and did you create restore points in the past?

If not, here is a link to Everest Home Edition (Clean FreeWare)

Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. Once it's finished loading and running, look under;

MOTHERBOARD
Post what is listed for your Motherboard (make/model) and the Motherboard Chipset description.

Multimedia, or, under Multimedia, PCI / PnP Audio. This will tell you what sound devices you have available
on your system.
