i noticed another thread similar to the problem i am having.

my computer was working fine, and i installed a new graphics card that i bought. (9800 GT bfg) i unistalled my previous drivers and put in the new video card. the new video card is working fine but i cant get on the internet. in my device managers is says im missing my sm bus driver and pci bridge driver. could this be why i cant get on the internet? another thing that is weird is it says im fully connected to the internet, but if i unplug the internet cord i still have a connection, but like i said nothng comes up. what should i do?

What is the make and model of the computer?

I'd suggest reinstalling the manufacturers chipset drivers.
