    - hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")

First You can try regularly using ATF-Cleaner or CCleaner to clear out temporary crap. For CCleaner uncheck to install any tool bar and on your first use click on the options tab --> advanced and UNCHECK Only delete file in windows temp folder older than 48 hours. If you have your borowser set to keep you logged in to any sites you will have to login again.

Also right click on my computer/computer --> manage --> Event Viewer --> Windows Logs --> System. Look for entries with an X. Please tell me what the most common entries are.

What software/hardware changes have you made recently? Have you tried a restore point? Have you tried booting into safe mode?

Please, download DDS from one of the 2 mirrors and save it to your desktop.

    Mirror 1
    Mirror 2

    * Disable any script blocking protection (if present)
    * Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
    * When done, DDS will open two logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
    * Save both reports to your desktop by clicking File>Save As in each log.

Include the contents of both logs in your new topic. The scan will instruct you to post Attach.txt as an attachment. No need for that though ..... just post it's contents as you would any other log.
