I recently downgraded a pc against my wishes (for a client) from VISTA to XP. Clean reformatted install with manufacturers CDs. registered, updated and transfered data to his pc. 6 weeks later the video is changing from 32 bit to 8 bit and distorting the picture. Any solutions other than: update drivers done that; Contacted manufacturer their solution is to reinstall with a complete reformat; already done that and the client is not happy about doing that plus I used a pc program mover to move programs not crazy about that however he doesnt know where original discs are. Any suggestion??? PLEASE dont say total reformat!

Try another monitor to make sure the problem is not on that end - making sure all cables are secure first.
