Whenever I click on any file or open a browser I get a popup that says "Preparing to install. The InstallScript engine is missing from the machine. If available, please run ISScript.msi or contact our support personnel for further assistance". Then, after I get rid of that popup, I get another that says, "Please wait while Windows configures Sarnsoft Resume Builder". I had already uninstalled and removed all files from that program, but it still tries to install it before opening MS Word or anything else. I have tried everything I could find on the subject, but nothing works. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of that popup without doing a complete restore?

Reason: Misspelled Isscript.msi
Download Autoruns for Windows: Autoruns for Windows
No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Click Options, then Hide Microsoft Entries.
Click File, then Refresh.
Go File>Export As, and save AutoRuns.txt file to know location. AttachAutoRuns.txt file to your next reply.
Thanks for the information. I downloaded and ran the utility, conducted a search, and deleted the file leftover from the uninstall. I also ran three other cleaners and enabled the InstallScript and InstallShield update services. Still have the popups.
I did find a temporary solution, however. I redownloaded Sarmsoft Resume Builder and opened the program. I do not have any popups. However, it is a trial software and I don't want to purchase it. I think whenever I uninstall it I might have the same problem.
