My desktop works fine but after about 10 minutes it freezes whether I'm listening to music, using Firefox, or running a program; sometimes when it freezes the tower beeps forcing me to reboot. I don't thinks it's heating issues, since the tower is so quiet. I maybe wrong.

I don't see how one leads to the other. In fact, too quiet could mean a fan has stopped working.

Have you opened the side panel, cleaned the inside and made sure the fans are spinning.

If clean, you might blast a desk fan in there and run like that for awhile to see if it happens again.

I'm new to this, so I have no idea what Ambient, Remote, and HD0 stand for.

I don't know if all computers do this but when mine hits 75C it shuts off. No beeps or forced restarts it just suddenly shuts completely off. It is something to look into though if you can figure out which value is which. I'm wondering if you get a pattern to the beeps. This is known as a beep code and it can very useful for diagnosing problems. Also do you get a back or blue screen? Do you get an error code? Have you tried running your computer in safe mode? Hit F8 repeatedly until you get a screen with advanced boot options. Have you tried a system restore point? Have you tried to scan your hard drive? In addition what is the make/model of your computer?

Also right click on my computer/computer --> manage --> Event Viewer --> Windows Logs --> System. Look for entries with an X. Please tell me what the most common entries are.

That depends on the chipset/BIOS capabilities programmed (or not) into the motherboard, and the CPUs capabilities and thermal thresholds. In other words - nearly every computer is different. Most warning and shutdown thresholds can be adjusted by the user - not always a good thing as some users slide the threshold up, instead of seeing why temperatures are climbing.

I thought that it might be different from one to the next so I was just observing what happens on mine. It doesn't make sense that it keeps running when the temp gets to hot as that could damage the computer & namely the CPU. If you see any kind of setting in the BIOS pertaining to that you need to change it. Perhaps you can get it to shut itself off.

This is way too high for idle desktop.

You need to get a can of compressed air, open the case, and clean it well inside.
With open case, turn it on, and see, if all fans are running.
