when im installing my Windows XP SP2
i cant delete/format local disk C
help me please .

Why can't you? Do you get an error? Are you using that disk when trying to format it?

i just put the CD and just click the install windows :]

Huh? You said you can't format - why? What is stopping you? Did you get an error?

Are you booting to the CD?

Perhaps if you told us what you are trying to do, and a bit about your hardware?

i reinstall windows by just putting the CD and click install windows
but when im in the partitioning step
i cant delete the Local Disk C to be formatted
i got an error some thing something XD

Just saying that you are getting an error isn't enough. We need to know exactly what error before we can help you. Also Bill asked for information about your computer. Why are you trying to reinstall it?

well idont know the exact specs of the PC
because its my friend's pc .
i reinstall it because of the performance
its super slow .
the error is something like
you cannot delete this drive because you are using this bla bla sori xD

somebody said that i need it to boot from the CD to format the local disk C

for your windows installation or kinda like that theres a system file la la laa .. xD

What it is doing is it has detected that windows is already there. Select the partition and hit D to delete the partition and then C to create a new partition.
