Re: BIOS keeps changing boot sequence
How do I reset the BIOS with the jumper?

Is there anything on the old drive that you want? If not, try running DBAN (Darrick's Boot And Nuke). You can download the .iso image to create a bootable CD or DVD from or the image to create a bootable floppy or Flash drive from.
To be safe, you should remove the new drive and connect the old drive as master, then boot DBAN. Run autonuke and let it run for a couple minutes. All you really need to do is wipe sector 0. That will make the drive appear as a new, unallocated, unformatted drive.
Now try putting the new drive in on the Master connector and the old on the Slave connector, both jumpered for Cable Select (CS) and see what happens. If for some strange reason this works, create a partition on the old drive then format it.

Thanks. I'll give that a try!
