okay so my bro decided to be smart and reset the password for the admin. and now he cant remember the password. if there any way i can unlock it without re-installing the system?

oh..i didnt realised you cant ask for help on recovering a password.
it was on microsoft with some sort of password reset disk but i have no idea whats that.

Windows does give you the option of creating a file to put on a floppy drive or USB drive that will allow you to reset your password but if you didn't know about it then you probably didn't create it so you're out of luck. Sorry.

Yes it has to be created a head of time.
