having a strange problem with sound. when i download music to the hard drive and then play it back, the music slows down and then speeds back up. Yet if i make a cd of this same downloaded music and play the cd the sound is normal. The download is through a wireless n adapter behind a d link router. video seems to halt along with the music if the download is a music video. any suggestions?

What kind of files [mp3, wmv, etc.]? What program have you tried to play them on and have you tried others? Where did you get the files from? Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall your drivers?
