I have windows xp and internet7. Every time i try to download something the little box comes up at the top left corner then disapears. I've tried alot of things and no matter what it wont work. I dont know what to do. I've also un-installed norton because i thought that was the problem but i guess that didn't work. Please help!

Is this a new problem?

If so try a System restore to a point prior to the problem.

>start >all programs >accessories >system tools > system restore

You could also try running Internet Explore without any Add-ons, see if that helps.

>start >all programs >accessories >system tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

You'll get a message saying "Internet Explorer is currently running without add-ons" which is exactly what you want. Try a download, see what happens. If it works, then you need to use Tools / Manage Add-ons and disable your Add-ons one or two at a time until you find the one causing the proiblem.

Same thing with Firefox?

I'm Having similar issues and none of the above has resolved it.
Please help.
