    Crypt32 error?

Hello, in the past few days I will be playing game say,..Madden or Call Of Duty 4 and my screen will just go crazy with I will have to shut down my computer. So, I went into Event Viewer under applications I see this type error:

    Crypt32 error

"failed auto update retrieval of thrid-party root list swquence number from:<http://www.download windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/authrootseq.txt> with error:This operation returned because the timeout period expired."

This is what cause my screen to just go crazy. Is this a widows update problem? If so, I went into Security Center and changed the way automatic updates does.

I went to the link above and requested hotfix but, it told me no need to install this because Service Pack is new and up to date. Then there was another file to run and it place these 5 files inside .dll folder...."crypt32, efsadu, wintrust, crypnet, and winhttp but they all are PDB files. I am really spinning my head to what this all means?

BTW, I was playing COD 4 again last night and again my screen just went hay-wire making it look funky. My screen looked like my video card is getting ready to die. I mean there were all these lines and colors and it didn't look pretty. So, I had to shut my computer down and when I restarted it, I went in to vent-viewer and thats where I see that message I stated above why my application crashed.

I guess I still am confused and I hope I am explaining myself to you so I can get this resolved. Thanks

Download, and install SpeedFan: Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer
    Post your computer temperatures:

Provide processor info (hold Windows logo key, and hit Pause/Break key to find out).

Post two sets of results, while computer idle, and while playing the game.

    Your computer is definitely overheating.
    idling - 52C-56C
    playing game - 59C-61C

Your processor max temps are, depending on model (and it's very important here, because of of almost 10C difference):

In second case, you're close to burning your CPU. If the first case, it's still hot.

When was the last time, you cleaned the case inside?
Check, if all fans are running.

I clean my case about every 2 weeks. Matter of fact I just cleaned it out before I posted this. There wasn't much dust but, still clean it out. All my fans are running including the CPU fan. So, so I buy a after market cooler then to help keep it cool?

Here is the one that I bought but, I don't see if it 95W or 105W? If I had to guess its the 95W?

From your link, it's hard to say which model it is.
    Try CPU-Z: CPUID
    It may tell you.

What cooler are you referring to?
