Re: windows could not start cause this file is missing or corrupt !!
BIOS > Audio > PCI/motherboard switch.
For most people 32 bit especially pre Vista/Windows 7.
XP Pro 64 is also known as Server 2003. It is a server OS and was never intended for basic users.
Drivers were not often developed. For example a server needs no speakers or graphics or many other things. It is simply a server running a lot or RAM and hard drives.
I use it for my gaming computer but never use it online. I had a hard time loading an audio driver but it worked after a windows Update plus the motherboard driver.
XP 64 is not for casual users. It requires a lot of work and in basic functions is a bit slow as again a server OS was not designed to run browsers or even windows explorer.
Vista and Win 7 64 are no doubt more user friendly.

hey jeph
...
okay so latest news ....
i burned GParted to a cd ..
and now the cd is bootable
anyways when it boots from the cd ...
it gave me lots of options ...
which i did not know which to choose ...
so i restart the computer with removing the cd...
please tell me .... which option should i exactly choose ??
-
okay... never mind my last reply..
i have managed to run GParted normally and formated drive C which contains the corrupted windows to fat 32 .... but now when i try to run the computer i get NTLDR is missing ... ??
some notes about my computer :
i have 2 hard disks... 1 of them used to have the corrupted windows and the other one had the normal windws (64) but now the first hard disk does not have a windwos at all ... so when i choose it as a boot it says " this is not a bootable disk " and if i made the other one with the windows boot .. it says " NTLDR is missing "
and the dvd gives the same thing ....
so i am quit stuck any ideas ??

If you have continued issues and they appear to be hardware related it would be best to start a new thread in the hardware section and or link us to the issue if previously discussed.
