I was using my lap top when a blue screen popped up it says
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
the system has been shut down

I have tryed opening in safe mode every other thing on the list what is wrong with it

Assuming XP I am moving this thread.

If I assumed wrong it will be moved to the proper OS section upon notification.

How to troubleshoot a "STOP 0xC000021A" error (XP). Might any of the causes apply to you? Did you just recently install windows updates? Can you acess the recovery console from an XP disc? We need to clarify the operating system before we can help you further. Here is another forum's thread on the issue. I am so not a computer person
I am running Windows XP and other then hitting F8 and going into where you can go into safe mode and other stuff that is all we can get to. The recovery disk did nothing.

I will try what ever it can do more harm

If you cannot access Safe Mode and the Recovery Console does not work a reinstall is about your only option.

If you need to retrieve data prior to the reinstall you can put this hard drive in an external case and use another computer to get your data.
