    Angry default file viewer

I put PS Elements in my computer to do some things I do best with it. Its not the only image program I work with. Once I installed it, it took over the task as the default image viewer without asking. How do I return the default task to the program I want to use, instead of what it wants?

Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types

Select your photo extensions e.g. JPG | GIF etc.

Here you can set the program that opens the file type.

Thanks, Jeph, that did it. NOW to get the file viewer to keep from freaking out and shutting down every time I want to scroll to the right when looking at images with the file viewer. The folder "my documents" is what I am talking about. I wanted to look at a couple of images down in a folder. System freaked out and quit every time I did that.

Don't completely follow the last part.

What "file viewer" are you using?
