hi sorry i have not been in, have only just been able to get the computer fixed today after days of trying lol but finally got it all fixed,

How did you fix it?

well to start off i was using ubuntu like you suggested, and gawd it was awful lol it was helpful but i couldnt get used to it so i had my brother ring around his mates to see if they had a version of windows xp and thankfully they did and it installed properly thank god lol
