no setup file...
Is it possible to transfer installed software from one pc to another without a setup.exe file.
I have several freeware games installed on one computer and no longer have their setup files or installers. 2 or three of these games are no longer free to download from their original source. Can I copy files and possibly registry entries or something like that?

Basically no. Some registry entries are so coded that you would not be able to identify them.
Search the old computer for Setup.exe
Otherwise some web sites list or mirror old version software.
Search Google for your game / old version etc.
It also depends on how complex the software is. You can always try to move the program file and see what comes up. But if the Setup wrote to the registry you begin to have problems. Of course you can move the registry folders as well if you want to try.
I would definitely backup your current registry first as you risk damaging this new install.
ERUNT is a good backup and you should have it anyway:
ERUNT and NTREGOPT
