Re: Hey Jerphee...need some help
Everything went really good (reinstalled the OS and drivers). All the devices have all their drivers including all plugged in devices. There is only two minor problems one, the top DVD drive is being recognized by the system, and when you boot up it shows 2 OS to choose from and there is only one installed. I deleted very parition and only made one. I don't understand why its still showing the old one?
Any thoughts?

Okay, I unplugged the SATA DVD ROM and plugged it into a different slot and it is now working. Dunno, why it wasn't before but, it is now. I went into system prop. and uncheck the box where it show how long to wait for you to choose an OS. So, now it just boots to the correct one and don't show 2 OS.
So, I think everyone is all set now. Thanks Jephree!!!

No problem. Glad all is well. The OS list is because when you install an OS a Boot Sector is created.
After that even a format will not touch the boot sector and hence new OS will just be added.
You can edit it manually from a few angles such as msconfig or My Computer / Properties or from the Recovery Console but what you have done is just as well.
